IF your calving / breeding season is longer than 42 days it means you are calving at the conventionally RIGHT time and sustainably WRONG time.

These calves are conventionally considered “not worth having”. They are being weaned at four to five-and-a-half months of age in line with the principle of “calving, breeding and weaning during the period of best nutrition”.
